Teams around the country have been busy providing support to various events since last week



4x4RNE Attended two events over the weekend of the 25th/27th of September.



25th Sept. St Oswalds Hospice Starlight Stroll at the Stadium of light Sunderland. Around ten units marshalling duties for a late evening charity walk.



26th/27th Sept. Around ten units per day at the North Yorkshire Agricultural Society Annual show at Scorton (near Catterick)

Duties included.......



Permanently manned Display with event unit and publicity information.

Dayly Arena display with commentary.

Dayly Off Road Driving Display at Tarmacs Gravel Quarry.

Marshalling of Antique Vehicle "Road Runs".



In addition 4x4RNE were called into action twice over the weekend for medical and RT incidents.



As mentioned in last week's news



Rover Rescue supplied a number of vehicles in support of St Johns Ambulance at the 10k Run for Cancer Research at Sandringham on Saturday and Sunday 26th/27th September. They provided transport and communications.



This is the 4th year they have supported the Run as well as supporting the 5k Run at Houghton Hall in July.
