Hello and welcome Phil, in the navigation panel on the left under "group register" you'll find a list of local groups, there are a few covering the Midlands so you may have a choice of which you join, but likely as not the appropriate reps will be along shortly to welcome you and help you out.

Hi Phil
Welcome to the site
as the others may tell you , joining the site is not quite the same as joining 4x4 response ..
Take a look on the list on the right and review the group register to see what group is near you and contact them.
Then pop along to a meeting and get the low down of all the requirements and bobs your uncle!
hope that helps
(alterantively the team lead may contact you below here !) (edit ... or above!!)
Drive safely

most have said already, contact your local group, or the rep will be along at some point, and if you have a good set of tyres already, other than your teams recommended kit ie tow rope/strop, first aid kit blanket etc, then your motor is just fine.

Seriously, welcome Phil.

As you may or may not have realised, each geographic team is autonymous and the TEAMS not the individuals come together to make up 4x4 Response UK. If you follow the link to your local team there should be details of how to join. Or indeed someone from West Mids will probably post shortly.

Hi Phil,
I live near Wem and have just joined the West Midlands group. Our next meeting is in the Telford area. Have a look at the website.
