Default Hi from Rover Rescue, Norfolk

Hi,

I'm Robin Baldwin, Deputy Controller of Breckland Landrover Club Ltd, Rover Rescue.

I normally use a Landrover 101FC Ambulance with full spec (blues & 2's, 4 stretchers etc), amateur radio (M3RQQ), CB and PMR handsets as well as Satnav and mobile 'phone. This is currently off road as the gearbox has disintegrated. I am currently also running a 50th Anniversary 90 V8 when I can afford the petrol.

BLRC probably set up the first Rover Rescue group in 1979 so it is great to see how the idea has grown and is now, with the setting up of 4x4 Response and especially this website, becoming a far more effective and better known organisation.

Recently sold my 1991 LSE. Used to belong to Princess Anne but now has a 4.6 JE Engineering block with crossbolted crank and sports cam, sports exhaust. Engine was fantastic, shame about the rest which was falling apart at the seams.
