Hi,

Both my wife and I joined South East 4x4 Response in November 2013, and have completed our training, me as a responder, and her as support. We are looking forward to getting involved now.

Our other interests are Ferrets, caravaning, off roading and DIY/making things

We are more commonly known as Lazy-Ferret, and Purple-Ferrets, on many other forums, as we are the founder members of the Kent Ferret Club, and spend a lot of our summer weekends either doing ferret racing and PR at events all over Kent, or helping our local Ferret Rescue with fund raising.

When we are not doing that, we also spend a lot of time taking our 15 ferrets away with us on holiday in the caravan, with which we travel all over the place, either for nice quiet weekends in the country, or attending our other love, Steam fairs, getting many weird looks when we take the ferrets out for walks on their leads and harnesses.

Anyway, we look forward to joining in on here.

As most steam fairs are only on for the weekend, we rarely get much above Norwich, since hitching up and travelling on a Friday night can be a slow old business, only to have to do it all again, on the Sunday afternoon. We do make the annual pilgrimage down the the Great Dorset Steam fair, every year, staying for just over a week.

We would like to do the Preston one, one year though, as it comes highly recommended buy the guys we know.
