During the last 10 days most if not all teams around the country have been extremely busy providing support to a large number of user bodies. This has seen us appearing on many radio and TV stations both local and national.
I think that in future years we will look back on this as the week that 4x4 Response received national recognition.
I don't intend to emphasise the events of any particular individual or member team as there have been so many tasks for us all to complete and many of us have worked many hours to assist the emergency services.
Over the next week I suspect that many of the teams will be busy processing new members, here in Wessex we have received in the region of 50 applications and I am sure that figure will be reflected nationwide.
